Let me start by saying the staff was exceptional. I forget the name of the waitress but she told us she's been there since they opened. Her recommendations were spot on. She was friendly, attentive and gave us the right amount of follow up. The food was really good. Growing up in a big city I'm always skeptical eating at a place connected to a gas station, but don't let that stop you. This is Texas. Waffles and pancakes were huge. Eggs done just right. The biscuits and gravy did not disappoint and the hash browns showed up just like the photo on the menu, which is typically not the case at most other places. If you are looking for a breakfast/brunch option give it a try. Oh- we also tried the cheesy bacon tots and they were so good.
It's a classic diner but their food quality is way better than Dennys. Great omelettes, patty melt, and Philly cheesesteak. The fries are always good, as are the grits. And coffee!
Walked out due to only 2 people running the restaurant. A cook and waitress only. They were swamped. No excuse for letting this happen.
The food was delicious! The pancakes were huge. I've only been there once but this place surpassed all my expectations. The pancakes were delicious the bacon was long and thick and eggs were perfect. Not only did I use my spoon to eat the yolk but I snacked on my pancakes for lunch. Not letting any go to waste. Whoever cooks the food keep up the great work!
Should find better staff. Went in and waited to make an order to go and was standing there like 10 mins and no one asking to take order. Only chef and a black lady who came out from back saw me and said something to chef and went to the back again. I left.
