Kork Wine - Georgetown

Food is nothing special atmosphere is cute but as far as the service it’s lack luster you can tell the place is understaffed and overall tired the workers seemed very unhappy and unpleasant .

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch and glass of wine. We had a delightful time. Bartender was amazing, the food was awesome and such a big selection of wine! The place was very clean. Wonderful atmosphere. We will be back many many more times!

I love this restaurant and wine bar. The service is always great. But the pizza fails. It just wasn’t cooked through so we sent it back. When it cane back, the crust was cooked more but the middle was still not cooked. It wasn’t hot. Still soggy in middle. Hugely disappointing And I see other reviews with same experience with their pizza

I have never been to the Kork in person. I purchased a gift card in June for a friend 's birthday. It 's a long story, but my friend never received it. It 's taken two months to resolve the issue. After numerous phone calls, texts and emails, Jacob resolved the issue, at his own personal cost. This is called above and beyond and his customer service is greatly appreciated.

ETA; I appreciate the owner’s response, and understand that yesterday was a bit out of the ordinary for them. We will give it another try soon, and I’ll update my review then. I’ll leave 3 stars (instead of my initial 1 star) in the meantime.—We were excited to finally try this place yesterday, and were looking forward to spending a nice evening with good food and drinks.However, we were turned away upon entry because we both had drinks (ice water) from a different establishment with us. It was a sweltering 105°F yesterday. I don’t go anywhere without water in this heat. We took our business elsewhere, obviously.It looks like a great little restaurant, and we live close by. We’ve been saving this place for a special occasion, hoping to make it a date night tradition of sorts, but I doubt we’ll be back.
