Nena’s Cazuelas - Georgetown

My husband and I been here twice and we’ve had a wonderful experience on both occasions.Our server was so kind and the food was delicious.We’ve had flan, caldo de res, menudo, sopes, michelada and margarita.This is our new go to place when I’m craving homemade Mexican food and I don’t feel like cooking.

How did we not try this place sooner? We LOVE the food at Nena’s Cazuelas! Probably the best salsa I have had in Texas- so much flavor and perfect heat. Queso- also awesome with great flavor and a little heat. Margarita’s- delicious and plenty of tequila. The enchiladas with Rojas sauce- my favorite in Texas for sure! Pozole- yum, yum, yum! Oh, and the beans and rice! Service also excellent! We are looking forward to trying out so much more on the menu! Our new go-to Mexican restaurant hands down!

Everything was fantastic except the bill.Really pricey first time going there.

For a little hole in the wall restaurant. The meal was fit for a king. Excellent service and Friendly atmosphere.

After waiting for an hour and seeing other customers have their food served, we asked about our meals, the ticket had not been entered. We decided to leave. We would have stayed but the server instead of saying that they would prepare our order next, things happen, he stated there were many orders entered (after the fact) and we would have to wait longer.... makes no sense right?We paid for our drinks, no apology or discount for the inconvenience either.We simply won't return. One customer probably won't make much of a difference and I understand that mistakes happen. Overall it was the manner it was handled that will lead us to go elsewhere.
