This restaurant is located within Whole Foods. The Tonkotsu soup base is quite impressive! It has a deep and rich flavor, similar to what you'd find at a fast food ramen shop in Japan. The chashu and noodles were good, and probably better than the average ramen you’d find in the USA, but they don't quite compare to what you'd experience in Japan. Overall, if you're looking for a taste of traditional ramen, this is a decent place to begin. I recommend trying their original flavors on your next visit.
I appreciate their effort and the presentation was impressive, but the flavor was just average. One shouldn't have high expectations down here, especially considering the small Japanese community. I tried the Tonkotsu Ramen, and while it didn't live up to my expectations, I recognize that my experiences may make me a tough critic. If I were someone unfamiliar with Japan or its cuisine, I would likely think it was fantastic!
Her noodles are delicious and my husband had her sushi burrito, it was also great.
Tried ramen and sushi burrito here. Both very good, which is especially impressive for ramen, as very few places serve it and even fewer can make it right.
