This is the first time I’ve eaten inside the restaurant, usually during COVID I would order take out. The dining room is super cute with lots of drink options and a full bar. The service was great and very friendly. I love their sweet corn cakes especially with the cucumber sauce that comes with it. I also got the fried tofu and a Thai iced coffee. The coffee was pre-made so you don’t get to determine how sweet it is, but I don’t mind. You get a lot of food for the money, so it will definitely last me at least another meal. They did mention that they do not have alternative milks but they were very easily able to accommodate my vegan friend and said pretty much anything on the menu could be made vegan.
I haven’t been here in a long time so a lot has changed from what I remember. 4 stars for 4 reasons 1. Majority of the dishes were pretty good but I wouldn’t say it’s great. Best dish that we ordered out of the 10+ dishes I would say was the drunken beef noodle dish and everything else is just ok. Chicken pineapple fried rice was good and the crab fried rice. Crispy duck was pretty good and super crispy 2. Price is very reasonable! We paid around 300 with tip for 10+ dishes which isn’t bad at all 3. Quantity is great! Large dishes for the main entrees 4. Fast service and good customer service for the most part, no complaints. Minus 1 star for 1 reason I feel like the quality has gone down ever since Covid and doesn’t taste like before. Some dishes lacked the flavor to really make the experience remarkable
I always tried crispy basil duck in different Thai restaurants to compare. So I tried it in this restaurant. It was disappointing. Very dry meat and very little sauce. It feels like meat has been precooked and put in the fridge for a long time.
Excellent food, friendly people. AAA There is plenty of secret parking behind the restaurant! Enter around the corner by Five Guys.
