Staks Pancake Kitchen - Germantown

During my first visit to this restaurant, I found the presentation and atmosphere to be quite appealing, but I was disappointed with the taste. My husband and I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, and while they arrived at the table steaming hot, they were unfortunately hard as a rock instead of the soft and fluffy texture that scrambled eggs should have. Additionally, we were not informed that the sausage was organic, which gave it an unusual flavor—I hate to say it, but it had a somewhat unpleasant taste. On top of that, no one came back to check on us or offer refills, and we had to flag someone down for assistance. I'm not sure if we'll return, but if we do, we'll likely try the chicken and pancakes instead. Hopefully, the chicken is better, as the pancakes were great, which makes sense given that they're one of the restaurant's specialties.

Food was delicious! Staff were friendly and very helpful. Luckily we were able to get on the waitlist before we made it to the restaurant otherwise the wait was going to be an hour Sunday morning.

We arrived and had to wait about 30 to 40 minutes. The hostess was friendly and explained the wait times as well as where we could go to stay warm. The cashier took our order and was really cheerful. Our food came out fairly quickly and it was hot. Overall, I enjoyed everything and will definitely be back soon!

My wife and I decided to be spontaneous and finally check out this restaurant. I'd heard it could get busy, so we went early. Staks impressively delivered on the food, offering an amazing variety, and everything tasted as good as it looked. My Memphis omelet was unique and bursting with flavor. The biscuits and gravy were just how I like them, but the standout dish was the cinnamon roll pancakes. They're an addictive combination of sugary icing and bold cinnamon flavor wrapped in fluffy pancakes. I’m definitely making Staks my regular breakfast spot from now on!

Used the Yelp app to get on the waitlist, got to the restaurant to check in and waited about 20 minutes to be seated. I had a 1yo with me, and the staff was amazing and friendly towards us even as my child made his mess. Staff and service was great. Foodwait times were good as well.
