The owners were running around, taking our order only to leave and attend to something else. It felt very unprofessional. The service was fast but not in a good way. I have never been so poorly treated at a restaurant before. As for the food, it was not bad but also not great. Overall, I would not recommend this place.
I visited this restaurant for the second time on Sunday, March 23, 2014 after a change in ownership. There were three adults and a two-year-old child in our group. We were warmly welcomed and a baby chair was provided for the child. Our aperitif included a mini-soup and a verrine of cherries and cheese tomatoes. The appetizers were excellent, especially the foie gras and filling, which impressed with both quantity and quality. We were also served a sorbet before our main dishes, which were beautifully presented and of high quality. The desserts were also a highlight. The service was exceptional, attentive without being intrusive. The wine list was well curated and reasonably priced. We were even offered a complimentary drink at the end of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The menu for 15€ on a Monday was a complete disaster. It took 4 hours for just 2 dishes to be served, which were terrible. The fries were almost raw, the croquettes were partially frozen, and my steak, which was supposed to be an entrecote, was only 5mm thick and half the size of a hand. It was not cooked properly and served cold. The dessert was also partly frozen.
Not so bad and the sauces a little frades and liquids. Should we regret the change in ownership?
Menu from Monday to 15€. a real desaster, 4h !!! (yes you read 4h ! waiting for 2 dishes and what dishes! almost raw fries, partially frozen croquettes!, my meat, an apricot kill me, 5mm thick and half a hand. not cooked and served cold, still partially frozen for my wife. passable dessert but espresso coffee served on equality. and we're not a bad deal. For our table neighbors, it was the same. and four hours waiting. A record of the kind in a real disaster. my worst experience for a restaurant, but maybe the next owner will do better ... not hard to remember!
