Friendly's - GETTYSBURG

Friendly was my family's official roadtrip restaurant when I grew up, so it was great to stop alone with my own children. The food was good and the server was so nice. They seemed a little unorganized (possibly underoccupied? as it took about 10 minutes that we were sitting and they were not very busy. Then it took a long time for food and desserts to come out. We were there about two hours when we were just a few burgers and ice creams. We spent a lot of time with it. I'll be back! I hope we caught them in one night. It happens. We'll be back.

Thank you. Maddie, you're a great waitress. And I never thought about mint ice because I haven't had it for over 20 years, it was good and I can't wait to come back.

The food was really good, along with the deserts. Her special soda was also banned. My only problem is the extremely long waiting time to get our food. Other then it was a very pleasant experience.

I wish we had one of these restaurants in Pittsburgh. It was one of the best restaurants I've ever visited. Especially for money. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff and it was absolutely fantastic. Try your ice cream. You have a HUGE ice and desert menu. I can't wait to go back.

Food and ice cream are great. The service is a little slower than normal. My first experience was not so great, employees smoke cigarettes without washing hands before returning to work. Certain staff members don't make you feel welcome but there's staff members here that work really hard to the point where you can see them really stressed.
