The Lounge Gastro - Gibraltar

We have been eating at The Lounge twice this week. On Valentines Day we had their special Valentines Day Menu and today we went for their Sunday Roast. We were absolutely delighted both times, both with the quality of the food and the service. The Sunday Roast was probably the best I've had in Gibraltar, so far. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Very nice food at a good price for what you get. Note the bread starter is large ! We had mainly seafood and it was cooked really well. Service was great from our waitress, top notch. Lovely views over the marina, sunsets and smell of the sea, so best to sit outside if you can get a spot. We went in Feb so not high season, I can imagine it gets very busy in high season. Note that taxis should be ordered to the Waterfront car park which at the other end of the marina, a 2 minute walk, as all the cab places know that pick up point. GTA taxis 20070027 are efficient and not over priced.

We have family over from UK, they have never eaten at The Lounge before, they were so impressed we have already eaten there twice this week and I am sure we will be having another visit before they go home The food is delicious. The Staff are lovely and nothing is to much trouble. Attention to detail is spot on. And what a beautiful location. Thank You for making us so welcome. This Restaurant is one of life's little Gems and is definitely worth a visit.

Ordered the special risotto and pork belly. Everything was cooked perfectly, staff were accommodating and switched the heaters for us sitting outside. Offering us to sit inside for a cocktail after the food. Zoe was our main server and was fantastic, very lovely lady . Would return if I'm back in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
