I absolutely love the patio at this restaurant. It's a truly authentic and local spot, not catered towards tourists or focused on branding. You can truly relax while watching the boats come back and enjoy the view of the sea, away from the crowds of tourists. I visited on July 1st and had an amazing experience. The calamari were delicious, with a tasty tempura coating that was light yet crunchy. It's hard to find calamari this good, and I consider myself a fried calamari connoisseur all over British Columbia. The fries were also fantastic. I don't drink beer, so I just ordered a Coke and was pleasantly surprised that it was a genuine Coca-Cola without any added ice or water. The service was excellent, with our server being incredibly polite and attentive. It's not common to find servers who are so calm and attentive, and this server knew how to interact with us properly without rushing or neglecting us. If you haven't already, I highly recommend spending some peaceful hours on the patio enjoying good food and drinks. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of our server, but they were a true professional.
Spectacular views from the very comfy porch. Great beer and Caesars. Friendly service. Could only be improved by some vegetarian menu choices.
This cozy pub offers great food and an amazing view.
I haven't been out in a long time, so the "newly renovated" part was still fresh to me! It was very well done! The chairs were very comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and my fish and chips were perfect! This is definitely one of my favorite places in Lower G!
