Asked a local where eight be a good place to eat - she mentioned a few places but the Fish and Chips she had in front of her was good enough recommendation for us. Ordered three orders of haddock and chips. It may have been a little overpriced, but watching them make it in from of you and then eating FRESH fish and chips outdoors on a sunny afternoon is worth every penny. Everything was delicious and hot. Even the mushy peas! Lemon and tartar sauce thrown in was a nice touch as well!
The batter for their fish and chips is so light, I ended up coming two days in a row despite the fact that I was about to eat supper of fresh mussels on the second day. They wouldn't give me their secret recipe despite my cajoling. Best deal and taste and at their prices, also the best deal. I'm back in Edmonton now and so craving their fish and chips.
Used to live here and eat here lots. Now I'm not too keen. I think the food is ok but not for the price you pay.
The best fish and chips ive ever had. Excellent service. The batter is perfection. The fish tacis are easily the best on the sunshine coast and the biggest.
Very friendly atmosphere, service with a smile. Food very good and Halibut exceptional, with batter to die for. We had take out service and ate our meal during our coast walk.
