Sandy's Bake Shoppe - Gibsons

Reading so many mediocre reviews is disappointing. Despite the small storefront, we were able to take a few minutes to review the offerings. The service was good, with friendly staff offering recommendations on the bakery items. The bar with shortbread, caramel, and milk chocolate was absolutely delicious - worth driving 40 minutes for. The date and apple bar was good, but skipping the apple would make it even tastier. Overall, the bakery is recommended for anyone looking for fresh and well-put-together treats.

Sandy's Bake Shoppe is an adorable bakery that offers delicious tarts. Its convenient location near the harbor and park makes it the perfect spot to indulge in these treats while enjoying the beautiful view.

The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly, and the pastries were absolutely delicious! We sampled a cinnamon roll (not overly sweet, with just the right amount of cinnamon), an apple tart (fresh and perfectly balanced flavors), a monkey bar (similar to a Snickers but much better), and a chocolate shortbread cookie (light and buttery). We were very impressed and will definitely be stopping by again next time we are in town!

My husband asked the lady at the register which items she recommends. Her answer was “everything”. Thanks lady, we can’t buy everything. She wasn’t trying to be funny but seemed rather annoyed. My husband proceeded to converse with her but he was met with single word answers despite having a striking conversation with the gentleman before us. Service was terrible. We shouldn’t have tipped. Don’t come here.

Had the best cheese cake I've ever had. Blueberry white chocolate cheesecake. So good!
