1455 American Grill - Gilbert

Basically, a bar with food would not call it a restaurant. Another place where we really wanted to go was closed. We have a few beers and appetizers at Happy Hour Price Thanks to goodness would not have been worth the regular price! Beer prices for an HH were standard. So the Bretzel was actually quite good, although the description on the menu said it would be "depth roasted ' vs baked. One should come with beer cheese, as it did technically, but was served cold and as Paste was: When we asked the server about it, it seemed insulted and offered as an explanation that the owner was a 'cook', and that was his special beer cheese creation. What? Beer cheese! For diving! I asked if they could melt it and she hesitated took it back to the kitchen.. When she returned with him, the way it should be, what I'm worried) she said something like "we happen to have a really good cook today, who worked some magic to get it melted for you, but we have 't do it again, as this is the special beer cheese and we want to serve it cold and pasty. What again? Anyway, I think magic worked with what microwave? In any case, it would probably not go back because there are so many other better options available.

Local restaurant/bar atmosphere. All working was very friendly and helpful. The burger I ordered was fantastic, a simple 5 stars.

1455 is a cool little neighborhood bar and grill. Great food at a great price. Service is good, too.

They still have it! The family-owned atmosphere makes it a great place to grab a bite and enjoy a drink. It's perfect for families, so feel free to bring the kids. We always have a wonderful time when we visit!
