However, yesterday was probably the worst experience I have had with them. It was my wife's birthday and her only request was Sushi Brokers, so we went to the downtown Gilbert location. We ordered shrimp fried rice, but we were disappointed to find that there were only 3 pieces of shrimp in the entire order, and they were overcooked. The portion of noodles was smaller than usual, and the sushi was dry. This was very unusual for Sushi Brokers, so I won't hold it against them too much, but it was not a good experience, especially considering the amount of money we spent yesterday.
The food was fantastic, Emma is a wonderful server who strikes the right balance of attentiveness without being overly intrusive. The music was a bit too loud for a Sunday lunch, especially given the building's acoustics. However, the tunes were enjoyable. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.
I used to love coming to this restaurant! The sushi used to be amazing! However, lately the sushi rolls have been falling apart and not tasting fresh. On my last visit, the service was incredibly slow. Tonight, my son and I arrived only to be informed that there was only one sushi chef working because nobody else showed up. I watched in disbelief as he wiped his sweaty head with his hand before continuing to make sushi. This was a huge turn-off for us. Additionally, I have noticed that the staff appears unkempt, wearing clothes that look like they just rolled out of bed or came from the gym, complete with crocs on their feet. They are always on their phones and seem distracted. Where is the manager in all of this? It is disappointing to see such a decline in quality at a place that used to be our favorite. We won't be returning.
Alex, the sushi chef, made this! Beautiful and delicious! The bartender, Alissa, was super friendly and gave great service.Food: 5/5
Pretty tasty but we only tried a couple rolls. Kinda pricey for a decent roll. Read the menu carefully since not all rolls are seaweed rolled. Some were soy paper and some were just fish. Definitely wouldn't try all the rolls since they were kinda nontraditional. Personally not a fan of soy paper and the one wrapped in fish had no rice...so it's not even sushi...Vegetarian options: Decent variety across the menu but typical types of dishes.Dietary restrictions: Offered some gluten free
