The Prime Rib Wine Cellar - Gillette

Passing through, so glad we stopped! Excellent food, not the usual travellers experience of playing Russian roulette and being sorry afterwards.

Our first time dining here. We were surprised at the portion size and the quality of the food. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious!!! Our waitress, Allison, did an absolutely fantastic job of taking care of our dining experience!! My wife enjoyed her special birthday dinner because of her service and great attitude!!! We will definitely be eating here again!! No more Rib and Chop house for us!!! Thank you to the cook staff and Allison for such a wonderful experience! Definitely a 12 out of 10 experience for us!!

The menu was a joke i ordered a steak which was just an overpriced hamburger patty. My family ordered a sandwhich which was not even a sandwhich this place was a joke. The food my mother ordered had wires in her hamberger. The food was all undercooked. Then when we all got food poisoning and called to tell the manager. He said that we were full of ourselves and that there was no way we got posioned there and that it took a week to get posioned... and he wouldnt believe us unless we went to a doctor to get doctor notes. WILL NOT EAT THERE AGAIN. and will tell locals other tourist to avoid this place.

Cheesy soup was not good. The escargot was very good. The Prime Rib was average, but the loaded bake potato only had sour cream and butter and was not fully cooked. Creme brulee was less an average in more of consistency of cottage cheese. Not the best meal for an anniversary dinner.

The food is good. I’m not accustomed to a waitress yelling and laughing at people at the bar while I’m ordering wine. They didn’t have the bottle I wanted, although they claim to be a winery and it was on the menu. I was upsold another bottle. It was more of a pub atmosphere, which is fine if that’s what you are looking for. It’s not fine dining. I was disappointed it wasn’t more upscale. Felt like a Waffle House.
