Fifth St. Coffee Roasting Co. - Gilroy

We stopped past to pick up some beans and a coffee on Sunday. Friendly service and the decaf beans were organized quickly from the store area. Beyond the decaf, I opted for the Brazil Fazenda, which makes a delicious espresso. We look forward to returning later in the year.

Great cold brew. Great service. Only place in Gilroy to get coffee that isn't McDonald's.

Anytime I am in Gilroy and want a good specialty coffee this is the place to get it. I ordered a Mexican mocha and always delicious. The coffee shop is relaxing a good place to sip on coffee and catch up with friends. I will need to try their baked goods another time they look good.

The interior of this place is visually appealing, but unfortunately, the food and drinks did not meet expectations. The pastries had a striking resemblance to the ones available at Costco, but the price was significantly inflated. Similarly, despite ordering two different drinks, they tasted identical and were not enjoyable. The lack of flavor made them taste like a blend of sugar and water. Based on this experience, I do not anticipate returning to this establishment.

Had a quick pitstop today for a cuppa. Had to review for the exceptional coffee taste and real caramel flavors in my caramel latte. A rare breed of coffee shop where coffee actually tastes like coffee.
