First Street Coffee House - Gilroy

Another one of our local favorites. We have a personal mission to work with the little local guy whenever possible and this is a perfect example of where we love to hang out. The young hip staff are always upbeat and happy. The music is quiet enough yet usually fits the mood. Also a nice selection of healthy treats and snacks for when you’re on the go.

The best café here, it is beautiful and really cozy. Their food is really delicious and their drinks are amazing. I love the lemon bars they have. And it's great that they show the works of art on the walls. It's relaxing to walk in the foot. 1st Street Coffee House reminds me of the sweet spots artists and writers chill in, in a cozy corner of the café drawing or writing with a beautiful steamy drink at their side. Very home.

This is our family favorite coffee shop! I'm more tea drinkers and love their cold teas. I had her pumpkin cake coffee and the taste was great! Even if you are looking for a quick breakfast, this is the place! Her eggs Burritos or Croissant Sandwiches are delicious.

This is a super friendly coffee and sandwich spot that we frequently visit on our trips from the Bay Area to LA. The coffee is quite good. I also tried the mango smoothie, but I found it a bit too sweet and watery for my liking; it didn't taste like it contained real fruit, juice, or pulp. The sandwiches were satisfactory—my wife had a tuna sandwich that satisfied her hunger, while I enjoyed a delicious everything bagel with avocado. The service was excellent, thanks to the lovely and helpful staff behind the counter. The reasonable prices, easy parking, and the fact that they're open on holidays make this a great place for a quick stop.

Best coffee spot in town! Tbe coffee and espresso drinks are all great, but the staff here is what makes this place so special. Always a smiling face welcomes you in the register, even during the most busy, stressful times. Here I am to the coffee house. No more starbucks for me.
