Great food at a great price located right in the center of town. My wife and I went into the bakery for a light lunch and enjoyed a bowl of soup and a large slice of quiche for only $8 combined. We loved that there was an option to sit at a large wooden community table to visit with other people. The bakery items are absolutely amazing, we can't wait to go back. The owner is extremely friendly and helped us with ideas for the rest of the day in Gimli. Would highly recommend!

Wow and wow. We walked in and the fresh baked yummiest smells just assault your nose in the very best way. We walked away happy with cheesecake and brownies and the local Icelandic dessert. All very good. Treat yourselves at least once while visiting Gimli.

You'll find great baked goods at this shop. I really love the multi-layered Icelandic speciality called "vinetarte." It is delicious and freezes well.

Strange that they don't make their own bread on site as this is a bakery. I bought bread there that they stock from Steinbach and it was anything but fresh. they have excellent vinetarta but expect to pay a lot for it. Cookies seemed overly sweet as well.

So many good items to choose from. Love the pies, the dainties and the icelandic rolled crepes. Everything made from scratch and you can tell.
