Pension Gimmelwald

Although I did not stay at the hotel, I did enjoy the pre-fix dinner here one evening. Seating is at 7pm and that night consisted of a salad, main, and dessert. Very cozy inside and the food was served piping hot and was delicious. Great atmosphere.

The Schwarz Monch was refreshing after a beautiful hike. We enjoyed it so much that we returned just for it. The resident kitties are the gentlest souls, adding to the cozy ambiance. The service was friendly and welcoming, making our visits memorable.

Cannot comment on the rooms, as we finished our hike from Murren; and stopped at the restaurant for a nice dark Scharwz Monch bier! The views from the place are beautiful, and the best beer after an hour long hike in the Alps!

Wir waren hier zweimal, beide Male im Sommer. Zu sagen, dass es unvergesslich war, kommt nicht einmal annähernd hin. Die Majestät der Alpen vom Porch aus zu erleben, während man echte Fondue und Wein genießt, ist unvergesslich. In dieser Region gibt es so viel zu tun, ob man ein begeisterter Wanderer oder ein entspannterer Tourist ist. Wir werden alles daran setzen, um hierher zurückzukehren.

Tolle Gegend. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Einfach und lecker.
