Chicken Annie's Girard

This place still serves fantastic chicken, even after all these years. It was amazing!

We visited this restaurant two weeks ago and had a great experience, which is why we decided to return today. It was less crowded this time, so the service was a bit quicker. While we enjoyed our meals, we left feeling quite frustrated. We were charged $0.75 for each sauce for our children's chicken tender meals, and we only received one for each order. Do you expect them to eat the chicken dry? We’ve never encountered extra charges for sauces at other restaurants. It would be one thing if it were clearly stated on the menu that sauces cost extra, but it was just included in our bill without warning. We travel from Baxter Springs to Girard every week, but after this experience, I’m not sure we’ll be coming back.

It was decent, but I've definitely had better roasted chicken before, and the mushrooms weren't very impressive either.

It took 30 minutes to get a piece of cake. Only a lady can cut the cake and she was busy talking. That was a real shutdown for us.

This restaurant has delicious food. Their servers are very friendly and fun. I love chicken hearts and boy do they have them! My favorite place for chicken hearts. The prices are so reasonable and they have home made pies that are delicious according to my hubby. Love to go there.
