Contribuisci feedbackMy general rule when travelling is not to eat in the hotel restaurant as generally there are many more usually better quality meals to be had within a short walk. As I’d had a very early start I permitted myself to break that rule on my first night at Sargantana. I’m so glad I did. On arrival I was given a warm welcome. The waiter came to take my order, but I was undecided on the starter. I was debating between the Strawberry Gazpacho the Beef Carpaccio, I asked the waiters advice with out hesitation he suggested the Gazpacho so I went with that followed by the Duck main course. The Gazpacho doesn’t sound like it should work. Cold strawberry soup, cream cheese bacon, but wow do those flavours pack a punch. I didn’t want the dish to end. The duck main came I desperately hoped this wouldn’t disappoint, it didn’t. The flavour of the duck combined with the apple purée blood orange sauce were amazing. I forced myself to find a hole for dessert had the chocolate sin with ice cream, again delicious. I don’t often rave about food but this was one of the best meals I’ve eaten. I highly recommend this restaurant. I asked the waiter to give the chef some feedback for me. It was simply ‘Wow!’
This restaurant did ! 1/2 tin of crushed tomato 2 spoons of boiled mincemeat penne not stirred whilst being boiled saddest/worst pasta Bolognese I have ever eaten .... No effort from the kitchen whatsoever.
Waited for one hour to get our food, but once it arrived it was good. The staff didn 't really know English. They had no understanding whatsoever that two of us where in a hurry and asked what is the fastest thing on the menu . We followed the suggestion and still had to wait for an hour. Food tasted good, so if you have plenty of time it is ok. But don 't go there for the service, especially if you 're a tourist visiting...
Local con clase. cocina de calidad. el menú es variado y son platos bien trabajados. mesas bien presentadas, con buenos platos y cubiertos. No es barato, aunque creo que la relación precio-valor es muy buena. El servicio de habitaciones sirve bien, aunque es algo. este sería el punto de mejorar de este restaurante.
Decoración moderna con servicio agradable, buena cocina. el menú son tres platos de primero, tres de segundo y tres de postre para elegir.
