My Thai - Gisborne

Been years since I was last here but has new owners and change of decor in that time. The food was still great maybe even better than before except for the coconut rice which was over cooked and very sweet . As for dessert they needed syrup on the ice cream and should of used Golden syrup instead of Maple. The peanut sauce was amazing and roti bread perfect. Well worth the 30 minute drive

Love the food from here, I lobe the Penang curry , roti bread and chicken satay skewers. Staff are so friendly and always do accommodating. I’ve been ordering from this place for years and it’s always so lovely. The Thai ice coffee is so nice too

Great food, everything tasted fresh and authentic!! The service was great, service staff always have a smile! And we're attentive to our table all night on a busy Saturday

I ordered take away for 1. I had the roti and peanut satay very tasty. Roti was lovely and its the perfect side for 1. I had the chefs special massamun curry for main and it is yummy. Plenty of meat which is great. Flavour is lovely. Nice thai restuarant in the local area. Worth a try.

This place does amazing Thai food and is good with catering to intolerances . This is my favourite Thai place that I 've found that can cater to intolerances gluten, fructose and vegan , and I live in the city<br/ <br/ !!!!! WORD OF WARNING TO CELIACS AND PEOPLE WITH GLUTEN INTOLERANCE !!!! the menu says GF next to a lot of items, but this ONLY MEANS Gluten Free option is available for those items, you have to specify gluten free when ordering!!! I didn 't realise this and got sick : 'when you assume you make an ass out of you and me ' : <br/ <br/ If any owners ever read this, please change this on the menu the common denotation for a gluten free option is GFO, or at least put GF so that people refer to the tiny writing on the back of the menu that says 'GF=Gluten Free available ' in my opinion this is misleading information on the menu that could make people sick like me! , and simply not good enough. This was really disappointing.<br/ <br/ Aside from this, I would recommend this place, although often it is quite busy or not enough staff so the service could be slightly improved. Everyone is always friendly and the food is always great!
