Great coffee, really friendly owner , always feel welcome when I walk in , this cafe researches more then wat others are rating it, it’s really improved since Year’s ago

Possibly the worst coffee I have ever had. Seriously, I wonder how people could drink that stuff more than once. Couldn't wait to find a bin nearby to be rid of it. I peeked into the Bain Marie to see a selection of food that was well and truly aged and lost my appetite. If your looking for fresh food and decent coffee walk on walk on with hope in your heart. Thankfully found Jeds on the corner. While pricey they make a decent coffee

Average feed. Bread was burnt, cheese on everything, eggs under done, chorizo not cooked, service was ok but just sub standard. Would not recommend.

Only came here because it was pretty much the one café open in the morning on New Years Eve in Gisborne. Atmosphere and seating weren't very welcoming or too clean. Food wasn't great and coffees were terrible. Wouldn't recommend at all. Cappuccino $3.50. Bitter and unpleasant. Fail. 0/10. Watery, weak and just not good. Couldn't even finish it. 0/10

This was a shambles. The waitress was obviously new... Or just inept. After a 15 minute wait I had a short black, my partner waited another 10 minutes for her latte. 50 minutes later we decided not to wait for breakfast. Ran into the people that actually did wait longer for their breakfast and they said it was cold. Give it a wide berth. I won't be back
