Lone Star Cafe - Gisborne

We had a fantastic meal at this vibrant restaurant, but it was quite busy, so I recommend making a reservation. The only downside for me was that it was a bit noisy, and finding a parking spot was challenging.

It was my second night dining here, and the staff were friendly. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were seated quickly. I ordered the spare ribs—there were nine of them—along with wedges and some delicious coleslaw. I have to admit, I managed to eat 4 of the enormous ribs, but I polished off about 80% of the coleslaw. The view of the harbor is beautiful, and I definitely plan to return tomorrow night. I'll also share pictures from my first night!

All the staff including our waitress Jasmine, were so friendly and helpful. Exceeded our expectations. The meal was superb and prompt. Highly recommend this venue in Gissy.

I enjoyed my meal here. The only feedback I have is to ensure your diners aren't completely forgotten about. Apart from asking for our order and drink on arrival, it was near impossible to catch someone's attention for another drink or takeaway container. The waitress kept walking right past us

I was here in the evening to grab some drink. At the entrance there was no staff and it wasn't clear if I'm allowed to take a place by myself. The place looks good. I had some ciders. The staff is pretty polite. I was just shocked they wanted to close two hour sooner. I didn't eat here.
