A lengthy review I am really torn about this place. The first time we went there, we ordered chicken souvlaki and a big salad, and we loved it. The food was so yummy, so we decided to come back here one more time during our stay. That was last night. Hubby got chicken souvlaki again, but I ordered pork gyro pita. It tasted amazing. Then, two hours later, my stomach got bloated and I started burping. The acid started to build up in my gut I could feel it burning. Now, I've had dairy food poisoning before, so I immediately took activated charcoal and drank a can of coke, still hoping the tzatziki was just a bit too heavy for my stomach. The truth is, the yoghurt was spoiled. I ended up vomiting all night and crying in pain. My throat is so burned by the acidic vomit, I can barely talk. Around 5am, when the torment was somewhat coming to an end, I started shaking so badly I couldn't stand. If a child had this tzatziki, a trip to the hospital would be inevitable. We are supposed to be going back to Athens today, which is a relief (because otherwise I'd spend 2 3 days of holidays in bed, trying to recover) but it's also terrifying (traveling by car after food poisoning isn't the best idea). Either way, I have suffered so much that I will surely not be able to eat or drink anything for another 24 hours at least. Food poisoning, especially dairy poisoning, is serious and can endanger a person's health. You can easily end up dehydrated and with muscle cramps, and your holidays are ruined. Last night's meal and the hell I've been through during the night are a reason I give this place a one star review instead of what I originally thought would be a five. Shame, really, but not worth the risk IMO. P.S. we've had nothing else to eat since the morning and didn't have anything else after eating here, so I'm 100% sure the food poisoning originated from the tzatziki. At least 30 minutes and above your order to shop while in the intermediate shop, it is normally served new customers and even worse when it comes and is burned because in the cobble must burn the bacon to cook the chicken. The staff of charitable and under the circumstances. I agree
Far, the gyro coarse and tasteless. The souvlaki is unsalted, tasteless. Only the pies managed not to burn. More expensive than Athens, without reason and quality to support it. But when you have a monopoly for lunch, these things happen. The cardinal-style owner thinks he has a Michelin star in the shop. I'm so sorry but I won't do it again. Try to improve your products and flavors or you will be lost over time. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €15–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
