The menu is unlike that of the Flo Tea Room on Granville. Prices are largely unchanged as we still have Ginger Garlic's affordable mini sets. Yay
Nothing was exactly outstanding but we did not expect them to be. Comfort food is always nice to have when catching up with an old friend and really, that is all that we needed. We even had a lot of food left and took it to go since neither of us were extremely hungry. The service was friendly and the ambiance casual and relaxing. For a quick meal and a place to chill, I would come back again to try more from their extensive menu.
The best soy sauce chow mein you can find! This is one of the hidden gems for breakfast and brunch in Richmond. The prices are reasonable, and if you arrive early enough, you can enjoy a complimentary newspaper. I highly recommend their breakfast combo of thousand egg congee, chow mein, and Hong Kong-style milk tea. Unlike other congee places I've tried, this one didn't seem to have much MSG. The congee was flavorful, and its consistency was pleasantly thick. The chow mein was delicious, made with a sweet and flavorful special soy sauce blend. I appreciated that the chow mein noodles were a bit flatter and wider, with a chewy texture that I enjoyed. Definitely worth a visit!
This restaurant is my family's favorite spot. It's conveniently located across from RC and close to the Canada Line. The food is affordable, and most combo meals come with drinks, though there's an extra charge for cold beverages. I recommend bringing your own container to save on the take-out box fee.
I visit this restaurant once a week, and it's a fantastic value. I often stop by for a quick lunch. I highly recommend the Beef Brisket paired with Ice Milk Tea.
