It is northern China , Xinjiang, cuisine with influence from other cultures because it is on the silk route. Amazing chef. Does not overwhelm the dish with spice. Try the salad appetizers like the Chinese fungus. Absolutely delicious!!!
Worst food ever; they can't even give you a glass of water or an extra napkin. Skip this place! Seafood fried rice and sea food noodles consisted of Shrimsp and tiny scallops size of pennies . Salty and stale seafood; my husband was choking coughing on their food and they didn't even come over to offer a glass of water. The 2 ladies and 1 male in the front just stood their texting on their phones. We had paid $13 x 3 dishes ... go to a drive through or make your own food. I would give it a zero star if there was such an option. Seafood fried rice consisted of corn, green peas and lots of salt!!!! Lastly, no change tables got babies.
3.5 stars. I had to edit my review after reading what some others have said about this place. People, this is not a typical run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant. The specialty here is cuisine from Xinjiang. For those who don't know where that is, it's a northern region of China. Xinjiang cuisine specializes primarily in meats like lamb, mutton, and chicken (you should be able to tell this just by looking at the menu because the vast majority of menu selections are composed of either lamb or chicken ... go figure). This is not a place to order seafood rice or seafood noodles. Yes, I understand they shouldn't even put seafood on the menu if it's not what they usually cook, but I'm sure they are included to give some options for those who don't like land-based meat. Ordering seafood here is like going to a steakhouse, ordering the chicken, and then complaining how the steakhouse sucks. It just doesn't make any sense. China is a large country with many different regions, each with their own specialty cuisine. Just like in the States how southern comfort food isn't the same as New England seafood cuisine, or how Cajun food differs from Tex-Mex, Xinjiang food is different from typical mainstream Chinese food. Stick to what they're good at and you'll have a much better experience.
