Tejas Cafe

I don't recommend this restaurant. My sister and I enjoy trying mexican restaurants around east Texas. We found ourselves in Gladewater Friday evening. I ordered the sour cream chicken enchiladas. The sauce wasn't bad, but the chicken flavor was odd. Hot sauce had zero spice. Very tomatoey. Decided to get the green sauce it was bland and thin. I didn't finish any of my food. The service was great! I loved our waitress even though the food was terrible.

The food is great! $1.25 Tacos on Thursday, you can't go wrong! The staff is friendly and welcoming. Overall a great place for lunch or dinner, even a quick snack. Just keep in mind that Thursday lunch can be quite busy, I mean, $1.25 tacos and all..

The worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. The queso is clear and watery with no taste. Green sauce is also water down, no flavor. I do not recommend!

Don't waste your money!! It'll be a one and done for me

This place is dirty and gross. The food has absolutely no flavor and is of poor quality. Been here once and will never return.
