Came here for the first time. Ordered the roast beef sub, but they were out of roast beef. Instead I ordered the cheesesteak and home fries. The steak was not cut up well, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the tomato was cut so thick it would pop out of the roll when trying to eat. The home fries were alright but somewhat lacking in taste. Also surprisingly took a long time for the food to be ready. Not sure if it was a bad day in the kitchen or if this was normal. The menu looked super interesting, but unfortunately I was left severely disappointed. I don’t think I’ll be back.

When the waiter came over, I brought up the issue with the cold, inedible burgers, and his response was, "Well, how was the soup?" He offered no solution regarding the burgers. The total bill came to $42, and we left an $8 tip. In retrospect, I wish I had insisted on having those awful burgers removed from the bill. I understand that restaurants are struggling, but so are customers; we’re all feeling the pinch of inflation. I was really hoping for a nice, juicy hamburger (I had ordered mine rare, which clearly wasn't possible due to how thick their patties were) with a warm, toasty bun and melted cheese. How difficult would that be to achieve, especially for $42? This was my first and last visit to this so-called restaurant.

The service is bad. I placed an order for a penne vodka with breaded chicken and that is absolutely not what I got. When it was time for my break I opened the bag for my lunch and I did not have any fork or knife or even a napkin that isn't covered in grease from the bread they threw in the bag to use for my pasta with chicken that was given to me. So I could not even have my meal. Next time I'll just stick to going to the GLADSTONE DELI. The service over there is better. Highly DO NOT recommend. Very disappointing. POOR SERVICE! Specially for it being overpriced as well.

Excellent coffee and very good food. Nice homey dining area inside and tables out back next to a stream.
