Auckland House - Gladstone

I ordered the vegetarian pizza with vegan cheese (I think it was organic cheese). The pizza was loaded with toppings, and the sun-dried tomatoes were delicious. However, the pumpkin could have been cooked longer. It took 45 minutes to receive our food, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy.

The veggie burgers with fries at this pub are delicious.

The menu had a small selection of vegan options or dishes that could be made vegan. It was well-marked with labels for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free choices. The restaurant is located in a beautiful spot at East Shores. I ordered the veggie burger with the vegan option, and while the veggie patty and mushrooms were delicious, they forgot to leave out the mayonnaise and cheese. Because of this oversight, I would give it 3 stars instead of 4.

They just cover the cost of the location. Food, drinks, and service are extra.

I had lunch with a friend today at a restaurant. Unfortunately, when the meals arrived, my order was missing. I was told it wasn't put on the order and they would look for the receipt. I had to wait a long time while they served other customers, and when my meal finally arrived, everyone else had already finished eating. I was not informed that my meal would be prioritized so I could eat with my family and friend. Additionally, I ordered a kids pizza but was charged for a burnt and oddly tasting regular pizza. My partner's burger was also burnt, the chips were served in a chipped and peeling dish, and they were cold. I tried to speak with the management but no resolution was reached. Overall, I left the restaurant feeling very disappointed and will not be recommending it to others.
