Mum and I celebrated our birthdays with lunch at the cafe. The staff were attentive and when I couldn't decide between two dishes they said they could arrange an entree serving of each instead! The BBQ Prawns, Ocean Trout, and Garlic Prawns were lovely, and the special of Rissotto Cakes with Smoked Salmon was divine!! The cakes for dessert were really tasty as well. The view is spectacular and when the breeze picked up they happily pulled down the clear covers to keep it out. Lovely lunch spent with family, definitely recommend.
Location, location, location right on the riverbank of the Macleay River. We dropped in to have a look at the wonderful gallery. So many great gift ideas. The entire place was very tasteful.Unfortunately we had already eaten but the menu looked great and sitting in the garden in the warm sun overlooking the river certainly looked inviting.
We stopped at the Gallery after reading a revue of it. It was well worth a visit. We had light fluffy scones in our Devonshire teas and were served by friendly helpful staff
