The Old Bank Gladstone

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! We stopped for lunch and the food was excellent. The back terrace was lovely with a great view of the river. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I had a wonderful overnight stay at the Old Bank Gladstone. We stayed in the beautiful Magnolia room, which was luxurious and elegant, featuring a four poster bed, fireplace, ensuite bathroom, and stunning crystal chandelier. We enjoyed a romantic dinner on the veranda overlooking the Macleay River, watching the sunset. Our hosts, Tania and Alan, took care of our every need, providing a cheese platter, cherry bomb mocktails, and champagne. The food was delicious, with my husband's steak cooked perfectly and my chicken and Camembert, followed by a decadent tiramisu for dessert. After a relaxing soak in the hot tub with gorgeous river views, we snuggled up in our comfortable bed with soft sheets. The hospitality and service at the Old Bank Gladstone were top-notch, with the restaurant serving delicious meals in a magical atmosphere. The cleanliness and attention to detail, such as roses in our room, were exceptional. The BnB had all the modern amenities, including a fridge, safe, air conditioning, towel warmer, and luxury body products. Our stay at the Old Bank Gladstone was unparalleled, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to the amazing hosts, Tania and Alan.

I’d be happy to leave all of my money with this bank. What a venue! Once again stoked with our annual visit to The Old Bank Gladstone. The Irish Dream tea is my favourite tea in the world and my brownie was amazing too. Service was fantastic and the venue is sooo beautiful, the best I’ve been to yet. OMG, what a little gem hidden away in Gladstone. Well worth a visit and a coffee/tea. Meals looked amazing. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

We decided to celebrate my birthday here and a great choice it was . Just waiting for some more events to celebrate so we can return soon. Highly recommended!
