Nussbuehl - Glarus Sued

It´s a short (45-60 min) walk to Nussbuel from the centre of Braunwald, but with very little up or down, it makes a welcome change from the steep inclines and descents that hikes around Braunwald normally entail. The little restaurant has used screens to protect customers from one another in these Covid times. Their local sausages are delicious and the soup was heart-warming on a cold day. Local beer too.

A nice place after a long and very interesting walk over about 75 minutes from Braunwald. Good homemade farmers food prepared by the farmers wife personally ! Simple Menu and fine desserts Ice-cream. Can highly recommend !
