We ordered from the pre-theatre menu as it’s cheaper (2 courses for around £17). My starter was a bit tasteless, which was disappointing. I had a veggie curry for my main, but it only had potatoes and a few bits of tomato in it, so was a bit dull. The dosa was nice, something I’ve never had before. They don’t have a children’s menu, but said they could make us up anything. They charged £15 for rice, chicken and sauce for a child under 2. Pretty poor. Overall wouldn’t go back as have had better Indians elsewhere.
I have been a long time customer of this place for years and previously enjoyed excellent relationships with the staff. I had an issue with my bill which could have been rectified easily. The manager was unhelpful and has as a result alienated my custom.
Went for Mothers 85th. She loves Indian food and is very snobby about it having lived in Singapore and Malaysia. She loved it! Fabulous food, great staff. Highly recommend.
This restaurant was recommended to us, so was our first visit. We opted for the pre theatre menu, which was reasonably priced. The starters of mamsam pepper and chicken Koli were delicious. The mangalore and mysore chilli dishes were spicy in flavour but not too hot. The star of the show was the dosa it was sweet, chewy soft and crunchy. Can't wait to return.
