There were two friendly and helpful staff members working. The restaurant is small and charming, with a nice atmosphere inside. I felt that the food was overpriced for what it was. Perhaps being located in Glasgow West End contributed to the higher prices, but I expected it to be more affordable given the student population in the area. I left feeling a bit disappointed and also wish they offered boneless chicken.
I have been frequenting this restaurant in Glasgow since moving here last year. While the seating space is limited, the food is just as delicious for dine-in as it is for takeout, which is a rare find. The chicken here has the perfect combination of crispy skin and juicy meat - I highly recommend the gochujang or soy garlic flavors. The kimchi cheese fries are a must-try as well. The portions are generous, making it worth every penny. I always recommend this place to anyone I can!
We live an hour's drive away from this restaurant, but we visit regularly. It's a great place to stop by after dinner elsewhere to bring home some food. The chicken is always fresh, crispy, juicy, and delicious. They offer a variety of sauces to choose from, but their kimchi fries are also a must-try. Occasionally, they have a special dish called Jiggae on the menu, and if it's available, you have to try it. Although the restaurant is small with only two tables and a few seats, it has a lot of personality. It's definitely worth a visit.
Limited but very good “takeout” food I can’t attest to the authenticity, but we all enjoyed the dishes and would definitely go back. Reasonably priced
If you're in Glasgow, you can't go wrong with Kimchi Cult. Since moving here in 2018, getting a meal from this restaurant is often a treat. They've got a quick service and their korean-western fusion foods are an interesting blend. Just to note, it's sometimes worth taking away/delivering your meal as the restaurant is quite small.
