Amazing eating and fantastic service. the sizes are also so good! beautiful menu, lots of variety and their homemade steak pee is from this world! also children loved it, the cutlery for the children is thoughtful. so glad that it is my local

Decided to go to dinner when you had a few people my wife and I knew it recommended. eating was phenomenal. I'm not a food, and I was taken back how good it was to eat. everything we ate was perfectly cooked the fish, the steak and the steak pee. Usually something is overwhelmed or underwhelmed where they go. there is usually something. but everything was perfectly cooked. the service was also great. the personal looked hard working. didn't even stop the whole time we were there. very attentive. eating didn't come too fast or too slow.

Staff were lovely! Really attentive and friendly, very willing to help, answer questions and get us drinks. Very aware of allergens and catered for gluten free, vegan! Had a separate gluten free menu with clear labelling of the vegan and vegetarian options. Very pleasantly surprised they catered for different dietary requirements as most pubs will not go into this much detail. Everyones food was lovely and would highly highly recommend :

Was taken out for an anniversary dinner here with friends on Saturday 11th June. On first impression the decor was very nice and it was very busy. I think that there was a party in the bar area judging from the noise from the DJ playing next door. It was a shame that once the kitchen is closed that the lounge emptied as I could have sat there for the rest of the evening. We were quickly shown to a table and the menus were already there. We were waiting for another couple but the drinks order was taken for ourselves. Have to say that the service was good and the food was lovely. We all had starters and mains and there was absolutely no room for dessert. Between us we had prawn cocktail, halloumi bites/jalapeño jam,soup, warm potato and black pudding salad. For mains we all had something different. There was beef/chicken stroganoff, chilli, chicken fajitas, mixed grill (which was not finished) which was all delicious. Final word is for the staff which were all absolutely great.
