The Square - Glasgow

My daughter and I visited this restaurant before going to Escape Reality. It was quite busy for a Monday and it seemed like they could use more staff, as the ones working were feeling the pressure to provide good service. Still worth checking out.

The first thing the server said to our party was that they were out of pizzas, mac balls, mustard and breaded mushrooms which was a large part of their menu! Right then, we should have left the restaurant, but we stayed at our most displeasure. The burger was ok but the mac'n cheese was frozen and reheated making the dish soggy and flavorless. The chicken wrap was a disgrace to food. The sweet chili chicken wrap was very dry (also unfrozen) and they served it with the Blue Dragon sweet chili sauce straight out of the bottle. The only thing that was good were de chips/fries. Don't go there!

We dined at this restaurant on Saturday, April 2nd and both ordered the chili. Both dishes arrived at the same time, but upon first glance, my heart sank as the meal was floating in water due to the rice not being properly drained. I was offered a replacement, but unfortunately, it was tasteless and I couldn't eat much of it. I don't expect much for a Saturday lunch in the town center, but I have honestly had better microwave meals from Farmfoods.

Visited 8pm on Saturday night with friends and family for a couple of drinks , having been in various bars and enjoyed sampling the cocktails we were disappointed when our drinks arrived as the glasses in which they were served were about half the size of cocktail glasses elsewhere although still cost the same . I visited the toilets and found them filthy -waders required due to the amount of water on the floor which was also littered with paper towels , I brought this to the attention of a female member of staff who just shrugged her shoulders and walked off.Needless to say we never stayed very long and won't be returning

I went to Bar Square with my friends and had a negative experience. The waiter spilled a drink on my friend and didn't apologize. The food we ordered was disappointing - the chips were still frozen and the chicken had a bad odor. When we brought this up to the waiter, he insisted that the food was fresh. The nachos we ordered seemed to be the last crumbs in the bag and were missing some of the ingredients. Overall, the service was poor and the food was unsatisfactory.
