Awesome dumplings and katsu curry.. my favourite weekend take away. Still amazed with food quality and taste, not changed in lockdown.. happy with tasty food
I stumbled upon this cozy restaurant and decided to give it a try after noticing they were part of the government's Eat Out to Help Out program. Their menu may be small, but I believe that works to their advantage as they excel at the few items they offer. I ordered the chicken katsu curry and pork gyoza, both of which were delicious. The friendly woman at the counter made the experience even better. I will definitely be returning, especially with the added benefit of the government's 50% off discount (totaling around £5.50 for both dishes).
I really enjoy Panko, but I don't get to go as often as I would like since I no longer work in the city. However, whenever I am in town during the week and feeling hungry, Panko is always my first choice. The Salmon teriyaki is delicious and the staff are very friendly. It can get crowded at lunchtime, especially around 1pm, but that's just a testament to how good the food is and it's definitely worth any wait. I hope they open a Panko location on the Southside soon!
This restaurant is a favorite among people working in the city, as they offer delicious and affordable takeaway lunches. They serve one of the best katsu curries in Glasgow! While it used to cost five pounds, the price has increased to around six or seven pounds. Regardless, it's still a good value for a satisfying lunch in the city. The restaurant has a few chairs, but it is primarily a takeaway spot.
