I have a little jalebi sweet and the oil was very old and stinking.
I had a great experience at this restaurant and enjoyed some delicious desserts to take home - jalabi and mithai.
I absolutely love their biryani! They are the only ones in Glasgow who truly understand the difference between pulao and biryani. I was pleasantly surprised by this sweet shop as not many restaurants in Glasgow know how to make biryani. I have tried various places and often found that the rice and meat taste bland and boiled, but here, the flavors are rich and the meat is well-marinated. Each serving is priced at £7, which is quite reasonable considering the quality of the biryani. The samosas and chaat they offer are also delicious, with the samosas being much better than the ones at Kundan Sweets, which are often over-fried and burnt. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine.
I am really grateful to Glasgow Sweet Center for their live-made jalebi at my special event and for providing a live breakfast for me. Their beautiful gulab jamun baskets were also delicious.
