I received email confirmation, but when I arrived at the restaurant, it was closed for refurbishment. There was no communication about this, and I was extremely disappointed. I will not be going back here.
Went in for a pre theatre meal before we went to a show at the kings theatre. The place hasn’t changed for many years. The staff were nice and the meals were served quickly. It was just an average meal nothing special, maybe the a la carte would have been tastier.
I looked forward to having a meal at this restaurant and honestly ignored some of the previous reviews, I ordered a vegetarian dish of okra and can honestly say it was inedible, the dish was soaking in oil, to be fair to the waitress she apologised and deducted the price off the bill, my husband ordered chicken buna he said it was bland and not spicy at all.
As a Londoner I have quite a lot of experience of authentic Indian food and this was not one of them. If you are after ‘generic’ curry then go for it. Otherwise give it a miss. Staff were very pleasant.
Went here evening of 4th December. We called ahead to secure a table. The staff were very attentive and were able to recommend dishes if some of my condiners needed help. I had Himalayan hot pot curry. This was medium spicy and bursting with flavour. Then I’ll was £60 for the four of us. Great food and brilliant value. Highly recommended
