Pancho Villas - Glasgow City

Recently, my family and I went out for lunch at a restaurant that was recommended by my sister. Unfortunately, the first impression we received was not a good one. When I called to make a reservation, the person who answered the phone was unfriendly and annoying. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted by a rude and passive waitress who seemed uninterested in serving us. Despite having made a reservation, we were not acknowledged right away. The food was decent, but the atmosphere was somber and made worse by the unhelpful staff. One particular waitress was exceptionally unpleasant, barely speaking to us and showing a lack of care. Thankfully, there was one woman who provided good service, but it's a shame that her colleagues tarnished the reputation of the restaurant. I would not recommend dining at this establishment, as the service and atmosphere overshadowed the decent food. It was a disappointing experience.

Do not order the crab enchiladas. Stick with the classic Mexican dishes and you won't be disappointed. The ribs on the starter menu are delicious. The Guava Fruit Beer was refreshing, but be careful as the portion sizes can be an issue at this restaurant. The only criticism would be the lack of ice or cream to go with our drinks.

The restaurant has a beautiful decor and serves delicious food. The service was quick and efficient. I would not recommend the sangria, however.

Great food. we went into (2 of us) to a satten night without reservation and got a table directly (together with the door) but we had to wait for over 30 minutes between our starter and main course when the food came, it was also excellent large dishes and beautiful wine.

The food was good however staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. They never asked if we liked the meal, wanted more drinks, dessert or coffee. It was a Saturday night and they were cleaning and putting chairs up from 10:10pm.
