The theme for April was France, and the fixed menu was excellent. Our group highly recommended the French onion soup, coq au vin, and fish stew, which were all accompanied by a delicious Malbec. We were all very pleased with our meal and wish we had saved room for the cheeseboard. Next time!
I have always enjoyed the brunch at this restaurant and the laid-back atmosphere. I especially love the unique old bus seats! The owner is friendly and always attentive. My favorite dish is the full English breakfast.
After my first visit to this café, which was a favorite when I lived in Glasgow, I returned with high hopes. The café has undergone a more minimalist makeover since my previous visits, with no board games or retro tea and coffee sets in sight. The service was decent, although a bit slow as there was only one person working and the cook seemed preoccupied with a loud and angry phone call for a good portion of my visit. However, when my omelette finally arrived, it was exceptional. I had ordered a cheese and speck omelette, which turned out to be one of the largest and most perfectly cooked omelettes I've ever seen. Despite the chef's seemingly angry demeanor, he certainly knows how to make a delicious omelette.
I could eat here every day. the sandwiches at this place – what I confess is the only thing I have tried – are really amazing. excellent quality brot and homemade toppings make it a wonderful lunch. the kopenhagener sandwich is probably my favorite. the personal is friendly and the service is faster than the average.
Friendly, individual little oasis. Food is fantastic quality and great value. Brilliant breakast/brunch.
