Wheatsheaf Inn - Glasgow City

Usually wouldn’t complain about an early delivery but I pre ordered it for half 6pm yet I received the order just over an hour early! I didn’t even know it was coming as it wasn’t updated on the app. 10 minutes after I got the order it said it was on the way and that would still have been too early! I wasn’t able to eat the food right away as I was busy but I did get the order from outside 5 minutes after it was delivered and opened it and it was barely warm. I was able to reheat some of the main was I was able to eat it but the pastry in it (which was slightly burnt) and the starter wasn’t reheatable.

Ordered twice now and the food has been absolutely amazing both times.

Lovely food, delivered hot and fresh, and quickly, by a friendly chatty guy. The fries were really nice and the Haggis/Black Pudding fritters were delicious. Highly recommended!

Great night. Few beers and dinner. Will definitely be back.

This was my first time ordering, me and my partner got the Lasagna and a Burger. We were notified it was going to a little late which we appreciated. The food was fabulous and hot, was lovely to be able to order in some great pub grub. Would order again.
