Mustard Seed Cafe - Glastonbury Center

Not only was the service deplorable, we found numerous hairs in our food. We showed the waitress (I wouldn 't even call her that) and she sis nothing. She served our food and it was missing a side, we asked her if it was supposed to come with one, thinking maybe we read the menu wrong, she said it usually does .... ok so does that mean it depends on the chefs mood? Never going back.. Go to the Green Bean

Good solid food and service. Prices are reasonable.

I had been to the Mustard Seed Cafe before and had a great experience so I wanted to take my husband there. We wanted to sit outside and we were told to see ourselves, but it took at least 10 minutes for anyone to come over to our table. Other waitresses attended to tables that sat down after us. When we finally asked someone, Lisa was sent over to take our order. It was a hot day and we asked for waters, but she never brought them, despite us asking a second time. After she brought us our food, she never came back to check in with us. We watched other waitstaff check in on their tables multiple times. We had to ask Lisa for her check, as she never came back to our table after bringing the food. She came outside multiple times without the check and spent time adjusting the table umbrellas and items on the tables around us. After about 15 minutes, we went inside to pay our bill. She was not friendly when checking us out. I would like to go back as I hope this is not a reflection on the restaurant.

Great atmosphere...the best Sweet Potato pancakes around. Lisa is amazing!!
