Benny's - Gleann cholm cille

I run Aras BnBwhich is close to Benny's and I send all my guests there for dinner. One family who has stayed with me for nights, had Benny's EVERY night. The lady told me its the best fish and chips she had ever had and while here she was not going to miss a singe night! Well done Benny's you make us proud!

I recently dined at Benny's and ordered the fish and chips, expecting a lower price than usual. I was pleasantly surprised by the fabulous meal I received. The fish (whiting) from Killybegs was fresh and juicy, with a light, thin, and crispy batter that complemented the fish perfectly. The chips were thick, crispy, and delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience at Benny's.

Without doubt the worst fish chips I've ever eaten. I bought five minutes later fish soup. I threw portions minus the first mouth. the whole amount melted and tasted of old brittle oil and cheap perfume. everything was covered. in fat. the teig was flabby. I strongly advise you to go after killybegs and treat yourself to the best fishing and chips in the district.
