They were well made and tasted very nice. They were accompanied by a very enjoyable tasting, Apple and Rhubarb Crumble, with a scoop of vanilla icecream. Staff were warm and friendly and very efficient. The atmosphere was nice and the décor was eclectic. A nice place to sit in the sun or the shade. The café is located at the Broadway end of Glebe Point Road and is close to transport. A coffee and cake sojourn here is highly recommended.
There's something about just the setting and sitting having a coffee on these really nice quart green tables in the shining light. As you should expect from great environment should come great service and as follows, also great food, tis it was a lovely meal infact. I ordered a smashed avo on chia rye sourdough with self added poached eggs mushroom and a large coffee. Coffee was great. I always get caramel with my coffee, and it's good to see and definitely taste the quality in what they brew is top notch. The meal was delicious, they must of added their style to it because there was definitely some thyme or rosemary maybe, definitely thyme or such seasonings that were well received by my palletes. In the past ordering avocado breakfast items was a bit of a wager game because you never know how fresh the avocado is, sometimes it isn't even fresh (shocking I know! but Badde Manors.. their avocado that they had used on the sourdough was very fresh, and I would even say probably the freshed and most well presented I've ever had in a cafe. Honestly in a summary of words, that meal alongside the coffee I had in such a beautiful spot where the sun shined through the windows of our tables, I felt relaxed and healthy. Definitely says I should visit again someday
Really awesome cafe with the best coffee, breakfast choices, chill atmosphere with a good dine in area and friendly staff. I had the big breakfast which was excellent and super fresh
What’s not to love? The cafe of our misspent youth. : Wandering along Glebe Point Rd I wondered was it still here? I was greeted very cheerily and the food came quickly. Had a lovely English breakfast tea with almond milk in I guess an adorable cast iron teapot. Indestructible. : . Managed to order a breakfast dish at 130-2pm ish. May Badde Manors live on!
I've been to a lot of cafes in Sydney and I work and study in them almost four days a week, and this antique style cafe is the most satisfying I've ever been to in terms of food and coffee and ambience in general, I'm so happy to have found a relaxed cafe, especially the soup, it's delicious! I love it so much! And the owner is very patient and friendly! Highly recommended.
