Two starts shy from being a great place because the staff is always mad looking, impatient and discontent with doing their job. I have friends who also commented on that. Not just me. Makes you super uncomfortable in choosing you food and in being there. A bit pricey as well. That?s maybe why its mostly empty regularly.
Loved this place, after searching maps for something new in Mexican (as I am bored of Chipotle now), I landed to Qboda, where I tried Cholula Chicken Bowl, was in budget and the best thing was flavorful throughout ?? Chicken was sweet sour along with so many addons (more than Chipotle). Most important thing creamy Queso) Definitely recommended.
So tonight I decided to eat out, I ordered 2 burritos 2 bowls all Steak!! Got home out dinner at the table , eveyone opened up and took a bite, my husband in a flash spit the food out , I was surprised he said what is that, I said what's wrong he said the meat is that even steak and all the kids said mom is not good. So I drove back with the food I spent a bit less then $59 dollars didn't ask for a receipt paid with a card. I showed up to the counter and stated the whole situation. My son said is not good I asked to confirm I received the correct meat of choice they said yes!! I said is not good. I wasn't offer anything neither fresh meat of the same situation but a giggle from the cashier as she asked what happened?Definitely I was served from the last of the container and it was ready to close. My son was hungry he said mom just get me chicken bowl so I did got to the register was offered no refund but charged for the new meal. That's not proper service and definitely the meat should be fresh at all times. I was lucky enough to have financial to purchase food somewhere else no time to argue with young teenagers but take this in consideration it could be another's family left without food or money.
I am extremely busy person but I am taking the time to write this review. I am also going to look up the owner?s information and send him a letter or email. This was the worst experience that I?ve had at any place in my life. We walked in around 8pm and everyone was cleaning and talking to each other. A few of the employees looked at us, didn?t say anything and kept cleaning. I assumed that they were closed because there was no way that they disregarded me being in the store. I did a quick Google search and to my SURPRISE, they were open for another two hours. I asked the guy if they were still open and he replied, ?Yes, are you ready to order?? I said yes and he put the broom down and went straight for the gloves, as if he was going to start making my order. I asked him if he could wash his hands and he annoyingly said yes. By this point, I started rethinking ordering at all because that showed me how UNSANITARY they are! He came back over and I asked him if they always touch gloves and start making food WITHOUT washing their hands? He responded, ?Look, I just washed my hands, do you want to order or not?? I told him no and asked to speak to the manager. He told me that he was the manager. I asked who the store manger is and he said that he can give me his number. I told him not to worry, I will handle it. I started walking away and he started talking to his coworkers in Spanish and they started laughing. His name is Sam. I felt embarrassed but no worries Sam, I will see to it that that will be the last time you treat customers thar way.
If I lived closer to Qdoba in Short Pump I would certainly have to order from there more often. I am never disappointed with my meal. I got the nachos this time (sorry no photo) and as always they were delicious.
