Great place to get a haircut, Elijah was great though the shampoo they used may not have agreed with me as it made my head itch and dried my scalp too much.

I 'm a male with long curly thick hair, something some 'barber shops ' (rather than 'salons ' shy away from. Don 't let the word 'Men 's ' in the name fool you Irina is a great example that this shop can do any head of hair that walks in justice. They do specialize in high end men 's hair products and men 's hair, but I 'd send literally anyone to Irina. I 've also seen Sheena, who unfortunately isn 't there anymore, but I mention this to testify that all of their hair stylists turn a simple (or complicated haircut into art. Did I mention they give you a complimentary beer/coffee/water?? I just moved to Richmond a few months ago, and as long as I live here I 'll be going to Ironworks.

This is my third time in a row getting my hair beard cut at Ironworks. Very friendly and, most importantly, skilled staff who have obviously been doing this type of work for years. This level of professionalism does come at a premium, but if you're tired of typical hair cut salon packed with people like sardines, this may be what you've been looking for. They provide a small lounge where you're greeted and they also sell higher-end men's products for hair/beard/shaving needs. Did I mention some of their packages included a premium beer of your choice? My barber, Elijah, always does such a great job!

My 9.5-year-old son and I had a great experience there today. It was super easy to book an appointment through the website; the atmosphere and staff were very laid back and inviting. Oh, and he got a great haircut! We will definitely be back.
