Flaked Out Fish & Chippery - Glen Eira

This restaurant serves some of the best fish and chips around. Everything is cooked perfectly, with crispy, non-burnt chips and delicious battered fish. The service is friendly and the place is clean, although the floor can be a bit slippery.

I have visited this restaurant several times for their grilled fish. It is delicious and reasonably priced! The location is very convenient for me. The staff is friendly and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Tried their vegetarian burger was huge and good... just if they could put some extra salads would taste even better..I wish they introduce more of the vegetarian options next time I am in Melbourne

I wouldn't call this place world class, but they're definitely a family favorite and have been for years. Veggie mains options are pretty limited (veg burger or chip souva), but their potato cakes and chips never fail to hit the spot as a snack. My sister loves their lamb off the spit (although expensive). Which leads me to my next point I went their recently and prices have gone up by a crazy amount. I hadn't been for a while but went recently and a veggie burger with the lot is now $10.70 and their meat burger with the lot is $10! I don't ever remember a time where their veggie burgers cost more than their meat burgers. Having said that, I definitely recommend their chip souvas (they're cheaper, too). We've enjoyed their food for years (hence the 4/5), and although the prices are a bit excessive, it's probably not going to keep us away forever.
