We chose one with Turkey and the other Ham, Cheese and Mustard. The fillings were very fresh and tasty but the rolls were extremely "chewy" Took a lot of effort to bite off and chew each piece; quite a strange baguette. The decor is basic at best. A raw concrete floor, small tables dotted the cafe, and there was a large refrigerated display case at the back where we chose to sit. It was at least a quiet place to have a bite.Ordering was at the counter but then the food was bought to the table. Service was OKUnlikely to return as the baguette roll was simply a struggle to get through
Lovely Cafe which offer a vast assortment of products for continuing the entertaining back at home with friends if desired. If you love to have a milkshake the old fashion way with a chilled stainless still container don't let the opportunity go bye. Great Coffee great cakes.
Called in for a late lunch. Food was good but the table set up is a little weird. Larder sell a lot of goods so have set up large refrigerated display cases and the tables are just sort of popped in where they can fit. In the case of the ones at the back right next to the display case this means people are coming to choose purchases while you're eating. There is a good variety of fresh goods for sale. You can easily buy something to take home for dinner and not be bothered cooking.
There have been some great bakeries opening in St Kilda in recent years and I've tried them all. Baker's Larder somehow manages to make breads and pastries
I go to France in a regular basis and when I arrive, one of the first places I visit is a boulangerie, I get a baguette, crusty on the outside and soft on
